This photo is one that has been used to illustrate a dear brotherhood in its newsletter Lenten information about restoring the image of Christ holder. The image shows the size skewered so-at first glance, seems a kind of darts. Although my ignorance of the image restoration process is complete, came to understand that these "darts" can be a kind of witness or technique used to diagnose the deterioration of the size. The question is should we be so explicit with some graphic information about our images devotional? The truth is that the image seems a little violent, and the truth-my truth be told, this picture of the representation of God does not meet the objectives mentioned that in my opinion, have or should have the sacred images. Surely, the inclusion of this picture has to surround the process of restoring some trasnparencia and with the intention of highlighting the good work restorer. However, the publication of this entry is justified in conversation with a friend on handling I made an image of another Christ (I covered my eyes) with the aim of which was recognized by the righteous, as in the Article talking about sinners with little gray matter. This friend and frequent to my posts, he told me the trouble that caused the manipulated image and their feelings toward me that that manipulation may have caused. In any case, I had the intent to annoy anyone, although I think I had been seriously physically cover face with cloth and then make the picture. In this case, I want to make clear that I have not manipulated the image and this picture was published on paper and distributed by many households in the countryside there whose name I can not forget. That's the difference.
And I'm wondering was it necessary?
